She grew up in Congo, where lemongrass tea wasn’t just a drink — it was a ritual. A warm cup shared with family, a scent that drifted through childhood mornings, a taste that felt like home. When she moved to the United States in 2000, she carried those memories with her, but not the tea. Finding fresh lemongrass proved nearly impossible, and with every failed search, the longing grew stronger.
Eventually, she found what she needed and began brewing her beloved tea again. She shared it with family and friends, and soon it became more than a personal comfort — it became a connection point, a story in a cup. Everyone who tasted it felt the same warmth she remembered from home.
Years later, she realized something powerful: this drink, so simple and so meaningful, deserved to be shared far beyond her kitchen. She imagined a version that was refreshing, modern, and ready for anyone to enjoy — a sparkling twist on a timeless tradition.
Creating the first ready‑to‑drink Sparkling Lemongrass Tea became a journey of heart and determination. She spent over a year researching, experimenting, and perfecting the recipe, refusing to release it until it captured the feeling she remembered so vividly.
